This course provides an extensive technical introduction to the Barracuda Web Application Firewall (WAF). For Microsoft Partners, Barracuda is an ISV with a separate product portfolio and is not linked to any Microsoft certifications or the Solution Partner Designations. However, Barracuda solutions are used together and integrate with Microsoft services. A better understanding of the Barracuda Web Application Firewall, it’s features and functionalities supports the Security Customer Success and Infrastructure (Azure) Customer Success categories which focus on deployment and usage. Barracuda Education is designed to complement Barracuda Services which are dependent upon the services you or your customer purchase.

Prerequisites
To achieve the best possible training success, the knowledge described below is a prerequisite for a successful training course:
- A modern laptop/desktop
- A modern browser (Edge/Chrome)
- Microsoft Teams Installed
- Barracuda Partners or Customers
- Knowledge of network layer protocols and technologies
- Knowledge of the most common application layer protocols and application services
- Knowledge of web application technologies and OWASP Top 10 attacks
- Knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, Java, or SQL is not essential, but advantageous
