Microsoft Power BI Dashboard in a Day

In this course you will be learning various key features of the Power BI service. This is an introductory course intended to learn how to author reports using Power BI Desktop, as well as create operational dashboards and share content via the Power BI Service. For Microsoft Partners, this technology course does not have an associated exam. However, it does input into the PL-900 and PL-300 exams and provides real-world experience and insights. A better understanding of Power BI, connecting data sources and visualising data supports the Business Applications Customer Success category which focuses on deployment and usage. This course is meant to provide delegates with hands on experience and an introduction to build Power BI Dashboards. They will go on to further study for certifications such as PL-900 (Fundamentals) and PL-300 (Data Analyst)

Prerequisites

To achieve the best possible training success, the knowledge described below is a prerequisite for a successful training course: 

• A modern laptop/desktop
• A modern browser (Edge/Chrome)
• Microsoft Teams Installed
• Windows 10 or 11 with 4GB RAM but preferably 8GB RAM
• High resolution screen: 1400x900 or 1600x900 or higher
• Microsoft Power BI Desktop installed from the Microsoft Store
