Q1. What is ID Connect?
A1. ID Connect is a single portal delivering multiple digital tools, from webshop to subscription engine, digital marketing, online, live and on-demand training and more. ID Connect is Infinigate's new partner portal, set to be introduced in all countries duringin January and February 2024. It builds upon the existing Infinigate Partner Portal, enhanced with a new User Interface/User Experience and additional features. It combines various areas such as ordering, marketplace, marketing, professional services, and training.

ID Connect will help generate growth for partners and vendors alike through effective and efficient digital enablement and operations.

Q4. What are the services offered within ID Connect?
A4. ID Connect covers a range of areas such as ordering, marketplace, marketing, professional services, and training, each with its own options and functions. ID Connect will provide access to everything from the "existing Infinigate Partner World, " "One by Infinigate and "Infinigate Cloud portals," creating a central entry point for partners to find everything they need.

Q5. What are the new features of ID Connect in terms of the webshop?
A5. A significant change is that the webshop is no longer publicly accessible but is hidden behind the login.

Q6. What is the long-term roadmap for the platform?
A6. The platform will follow an evolutionary path, growing to incorporate additional services over the coming months, increasing and simplifying integrations with customers to lower their cost of operations. The focus is on continuously expanding and improving the offerings. The next phases involve integrating additional functions and identifying overlaps.

Accessibility

Q7. Is ID Connect available to all partners?
A7. ID Connect will be made available initially to all existing Infinigate partners across Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. In future we plan to rollout to our partners in Spain, Poland, Eastern Europe and beyond.

Q8. Can all partners access all services within ID Connect?
A8. Partners have tailored access to the areas relevant to their focus and needs and can gain access to additional tools and services upon application.

Q9. How are new users set up for portal access?
A9. The setup of new users for portal access remains unchanged (i.e. as per Infinigate Partner Portal). Access to the "Nuvias" and "Infinigate Cloud" features will continue to be managed by those distinct teams once the user has been setup in ID Connect (See Q14).

Q10. How do partners gain access to ID Connect?
A10. A partner can request access through a webform, and the local team will be able to grant access.

Q11. Is ID Connect available across EMEA?
A11. ID Connect is available to Infinigate partners through a single sign-on, across Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.

Q12. How does access to different areas and functions work?
A12. Access is via Single Sign-On (SSO) and depends on permissions and rights. Users only see the areas to which they have access.

Q13. What changes for existing users of the Infinigate Partner Portal?
A13. For existing users of the Infinigate Partner Portal, webshop, and MSP portal, the username and password remain unchanged. After logging in, they will be redirected to the new interface of the portal.

Q14. What happens if a user is not granted access to certain areas?
A14. Users who do not have access to “Nuvias Apps” and. “Infinigate Cloud Apps” can request access via a form and will see them as soon as access is granted For additional access requests, users can contact their assigned Admin.

Q15. Can a user see who the Admin is in their organisation?
A15. Yes, users can find out who the Admin is by checking under 'My Profile'.

Q16. What different user rights are there and how are they assigned?
A16. There are standard users and admins. Admins can create and edit, add new users and add or remove rights. Rights assignment is done through the CRM system. This remains unchanged to date. In the course of 2024, additional rights, such as rights based on positions like sales and marketing, are planned to be introduced.

Q17. What can a standard user do in the portal?
A17. A standard user can place webshop orders, view documents from the ERP system, and accept or reject offers as standard. However, an admin can modify these rights.

Q18. How is access to the Nuvias and Infinigate Cloud apps regulated?
A18. Access to these apps must be requested separately and is not automatically available to all users. The approval process can take up to three working days and is managed by the group.
